Loving the Lord with all my heart and soul. I delighted in hiding God's word in my heart.

This memorial website was created to remember our dearest Darrel R. Jordan who was born in McCall, Idaho on December 28, 1973 and passed away on August 28, 2006 at the age of 32. You will live forever in our memories and hearts.

Darrel R. Jordan Jr., 32, of Kuna, our loving son, brother, uncle and friend left us on Aug. 28, 2006 to dance with his Heavenly Father.  Darrel was born Dec. 28, 1973 in McCall, Idaho, the son of Dorothy (Dottie) L. Jordan. He graduated from Kuna High School, Kuna, Idaho in 1992, participated in a missions trip with Baptists for Israel in 1994, and graduated from Western Baptist College in Salem Ore. in 1996 with a BS in Psychology. He married Amy Merrick March 14, 1997. Darrel volunteered for many organizations including the AWANA club at Union Baptist Church, Union Public Library, Epilepsy Foundation in Boise, the Boise Public Library, and El Ada. Darrel suffered with Epilepsy for 25 years. He had multiple surgeries attempting to control and reduce the constant number of seizures, and through it all maintained a kind and loving spirit. Darrel loved the Lord with all of his heart. One of his ministries was to help those in need or less fortunate. In this way, he touched many lives. He worked diligently for a close walk with the Lord. He delighted in hiding God’s Word in his heart. Some of the things Darrel enjoyed were spending time with family and friends, reading his Bible, fellowship with other Christians, enjoying a cup of coffee (especially at Starbucks!), Scooby Doo, Jeff Gordon, Chicago Bulls, Bugs Bunny, Monty Python, the Three Stooges, playing pool, and watching sports. Darrel, we will miss your quirky sense of humor, your hugs/kisses, your sweet smile, the way you lit up our lives with joy, and your HUGE loving heart. We will NEVER forget you; God has you in His keeping and we will always have you in our hearts! Darrel is survived by his mother, Dottie Jordan of Kuna, Idaho; his sister and family, Beth, Kurtis, Victoria and Jordan Plaster of Meridian, Idaho; his brother and family, Bob Kendrix of Leland, Miss.; Heidi Critcher, Heather English (Joey), Trevor Kendrix; his uncle and family, Roger Spriggs, Rick, Debbie, and Kathy; his aunt and family, Nell Nelson, Cindy Robinson (Clint), Allen Nelson; his aunt and family, Nedra (Bigga Momma) Jordan, Scott Jordan (Patty), Lisa Osborne (Andy); his aunt and family, Suzanne Bollenbach (Charlie), Marcie and Laurie; additional moms, Sheila, Cindy, Melodie; numerous other aunts, uncles, cousins, two great-nephews, and an uncountable number of friends.
